Original, from the artist, Post Cards made in Sedona, AZ.
Four Crystal images captured on film in 1989 using a 4x5 Crown Graflex view camera. (The kind of old large camera that has the black cloth that goes over the head of the photographer.) The Quartz Crystal in the photos is a 14lb Arkansas McEarl, that has been in the family since 1982. It has been named "VORTEX" since then, certainly a world class specimen. Vortex was mined in the 1950's in an Arkansas mine known as McEarl, where some of the finest quartz in the world come from. The image with the Rainbow as well as the one of Sedona's Cathedral Rock were single exposures. The image with the Moon is a double exposure, and the Moon and Star is a triple exposure. (This was well before PhotoShop! A challenge to photographers out there: How was the Sedona image captured as a single exposure?) One image shows the back of the Cards. The cards were made with high quality printing and coating.
