Vintage jacket has an Adrianna Papell label. Fabric appears to be a silk jacquard; however no care tag is present.

Adrianna Papell was founded in NYC in 1980 creating soft silk dresses and blouses in artful prints. They evolved from featuring day time and occasion dresses to elegant evening and cocktail wear.

Today, after 40 years in clothing business, they distribute to most leading US retailers and in 27 other countries.

Lightweight jacket resembles an ornate jacquard scarf design in bold colors of beige with large designs in jewel tone colors including red, black, fuchsia, teal and gold. A tag inside states that the inside is lined in acetate.

Very 1980’s and ornate with a French designer style. It has a large medallion in front, and similar designs accenting the shoulders and long sleeve ends.

Wear it with a black skirt or slacks and 1980’s jewelry for an elegant look.

It has great construction details including a black jacquard trim all around and 5 black and gold buttons in front and fabric loops. It is semi fitted.
