Handpicked oyster shell necklace from Norderney.
This beautifully grained oyster shell in light tones was collected by hand on Norderney.

The selected shell sample was processed in the studio. The inner surface has been polished and sharp edges have been sanded down. I deliberately avoided painting the oyster to preserve the natural look. Natural summer ornament.

This shapely oyster specimen is reminiscent of the Chinese symbol yin and yang.
The shell was decorated with a genuine freshwater pearl, brushed sterling silver and faceted smoked glass. All jewelry elements are made of sterling silver.
