Why doesn't my game work?

There are MANY different reasons that your game might not work. Please read the full FAQ on my website, and the appropriate tutorial for the board you are using, as a first step to troubleshooting a board. Missing just one step, or one solder joint, can cause an entire game to not work.

Can you assemble the board for me?

No. The only items I sell assembled will be indicated as such.

Can I have the gerber files so I can order these boards myself?

I don’t provide gerber files for every project, but the ones I do have links to them in the description. I also provide many schematics and in-depth details of my boards on my website across various pages for you to use to design your own boards if you’d like. I only ask that if you are going to use my documentation to produce your own boards in order to sell them, please try to understand how it all works before doing so, and don't blindly copy the information.

Can you lower shipping costs? They're too high.

No. I *do not* control shipping costs, they are set by the postal service. I understand international shipping is quite expensive, but lowering the cost will only make me lose money!

When will my item(s) ship?

Processing time is 7 business days - this is a deadline I will always meet, barring any unforeseen circumstances, such as sickness. This is not a job for me; this is only a hobby. I have many other life responsibilities that WILL take priority over this store. As such, I do not fill orders every single night, but I will at least once a week. I fill shipments in the order I receive them. If for some reason you need your item sooner than the date Etsy shows as the estimated arrival date, message me and I may be able to ship sooner, but I make no guarantees.

This is the listing for the bare Pocket Mouse Power Board (version 1.3). It is the AAA-compatible power board for use in my MGBC (Pocket Color) project. I highly recommend using rechargeable NiMH batteries, such as eneloops. The MGBC is a Game Boy Color fit inside of an Game Boy Pocket shell, with many modern improvements! This is an entirely new PCB of my own design. What you will receive is the bare circuit board - the pictures in the listing with parts is for reference only. You must populate these boards yourself. (Do not ask me to do it for you.)

Please keep these things in mind before you purchase:
1) This project is *ONLY* for those who are skilled enough to assemble and troubleshoot advanced circuit boards. This is *NOT* a beginner, or even an intermediate project. This is for only those with advanced experience in circuit board assembly.
2) Due to the complexity of the project, I cannot obligate myself to helping you troubleshoot any errors you may encounter. The github repo has a lot of information that can help you out, but advanced troubleshooting skills are highly recommended.
3) I am not responsible for any damage to you or your property if you choose to attempt this project. If you purchase the Pocket Mouse Power Board, you accept all of these risks.
