This Item is made from Ostrich eggshell, the eggs that we use are sourced from reputable ostrich farmers, they are broken pieces from hatched eggs or unfertilised eggs. Ours is a story of creativity, upcycling, sustainability, and social empowerment.

I first discovered these amazing artists when I bought an incredible hand-carved flying (!) wooden flamingo on their Etsy shop "WoodWingsCreations" and immediately was hooked by their unusual concepts and high-quality artistry and have since become a many-time-over repeat customer and a huge fan! So I was delighted when I found out that they have another business "MambuDesignStores" on Etsy making incredible jewelry, and as always, something so unique that you can't find anywhere else! The styles have a cool African vibe, the designs are crisp and eye-catching, and the use of ostrich shells is so original...always a conversation starter! And as always, I'm again a many-time-over repeat customer and a huge fan!
