Dark Surreal Watercolour painting - Emotive surreal art print - Watercolour emotional art - Emotional artwork - art print optional frame

Are you looking for dark, emotional and meaningful artwork to add to your wall decor?

Unveiling ‘Dissociation’ - A dark surreal watercolour painting portraying detachment, depression and mental health through dreamlike imagery.

Feel empowered by seeing your own indescribable experiences illustrated in a hauntingly evocative art piece.

What inspired this piece?.

That surreal feeling that comes with depression of your feet suddenly leaving the ground. Everything turns monochrome, you feel frozen, like you’re dissolving and desperately trying to anchor yourself to reality. It was made on a very bad day, and it serves as a reminder that that bad day passed, just as all the others before it did, and just as all bad days in the future will.

Why choose this piece?

-Empowering expression: This powerful yet gentle portrayal of a dissociative episode can serve as a grounding reminder that you are not alone, and that this will pass.
-Sensitive exploration: This piece was lovingly crafted by someone who has gone through these mental health experiences, so you can be sure it was created with understanding and empathy.
-Narrative catalyst: Spark meaningful conversations in your home about mental health, break the taboo one art piece at a time.
-Make your home a safe space: let visitors know that they can be themselves in your home and talk to you about struggles they may be facing. Support the healing of everyone who resonates with this piece by giving them space to talk.
