"Mama Gaia" was handmade in a slow and intuitive crafting process working with pure wool and plant fibres.

She is a powerful Mother Earth Goddess medicine doll to envoke fertility, the birthing of ideas as well as a celebration of motherhood. When You become her keeper and infuse her with your own love and prayers, she becomes so much more.

Nestled in her wombspace is a medicine bundle containing bottle brush for the mother-child bond, rose petals, raspberry leaf and mugwort. Her lower back bears a tiny blood red heart 'tatoo'.

She sits on a separately felted 'earth' base out of which grows a pink agate mushroom crystal to promote love between parent and child. Among many other wonderful properties - agate also helps to harmonise yin and yang.

The fibre too carries its own story - where the animal grazed, the waters of that land, the countless beings who care for the animal and later process the wool to bring such beauty for me to create with. I always source wool from ethical farms. Her long locks are hand dyed by me and lichen and a feather adorn her hair.

She is absolutely beautiful! Her hair is unbelievably soft. She came very quickly and Arzu was in communication during the entire process until she verified that my doll had arrived safely and all was well. Highly recommend, very special creations.
