If the rod is outside mount, the width of the Faux Roman Shades should be the width of the window plus at least 2-3" to ensure coverage of the window frame. The length of Faux Roman Shades generally does not exceed 1/3 of the total length of the window.

14" - 26" length - valance has 3 folds.
27" - 42" length - valance has 4 folds
