Chalice Well Amulets with Well Water (Avalon Glastonbury Holy Grail Sacred Well Welsh Irish)

The Chalice Well is one of Britain’s most ancient holy wells, nestling in the Vale of Avalon between the famous Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Hill. For over two thousand years it has been a place of pilgrimage where people have gathered to drink the waters and find peace, healing and inspiration.

A necklace(s) with intense Chalice Well focus have been fashioned, and a small vial filled with water from the Chalice Well in Glastonbury!

Pictures 1-5: This necklace includes a small glass vial (1”x0.6” - maybe a dram?). The Chalice Well pendant is 1.5x0.25”, has photos front and back that I took, mounted on wood and glazed over with epoxy.
Entire pendant area is 4x1.5”.
Chain has translucent grey and olive green-ish beads, with 2 red and white beads pointing towards the red and white wells.
Adjustable with lobster clasp from 17-20” (44-50cm). If you want it longer, more links can be added by me.

The Chalice Well is among the best known and most loved holy wells in Britain. Many legends are attributed to its chalybeate waters, which flow ceaselessly at a steady rate and temperature that never varies.
According to legend the Chalice Well is believed to have sprung from the ground at the location where the chalice (the Holy Grail), that Jesus drank from at the Last Supper and in which drops of His blood were caught during the Crucifixion, was placed. The sacred vessel is believed to have been placed into the well by Joseph of Arimathea.
The well itself is thought to have been built by the Druids, and that the water that gushes from it, reddish in colour and tasting of iron, has been claimed to have magical powers.
The colour of the water and the taste according to legend is said to symbolise the iron nails that were used at the Crucifixion. Visitors can still drink the water which is today believed to possess healing properties.
For others with a more mystical, pagan outlook, the waters are acknowledged as the essence of life, the gift from Mother Earth to sustain its living forms. There are events that take place throughout the year at Chalice Wells for followers of this outlook.

The water flows through the garden and there is a small pool where one can paddle or bathe in the waters.
