Propolis Facial Serum: Age-Defying Propolis & Almond Oil Blend

If I could own only one skin care product (heaven forbid!), this would be it.

It’s all about the propolis, the most nutrient rich of all bee products. Bees use it to preserve and protect their hives, and:

* Ancient Egyptians used it to preserve mummies.
* Cleopatra used it in her beauty regimen.
* I’ve been using it for years to preserve my own skin.

What sets propolis apart from other “anti-aging” ingredients is that it can contain up to 50 different flavonoids (antioxidants that fight off free radicals).

Most skin care products with propolis are diluted with water, alcohol, or other fillers or preservatives. This serum is made from pure propolis infused in sweet almond oil. Added to this is the powerful antioxidant rosemary CO2 extract, vitamin e oil, and the essential oils of lavender, rose absolute, and ylang ylang, each one with its own skin-beautifying properties.

Along with the initial light scent of the essential oils, this serum also has the unique scent of propolis which is more on the earthy-woody side. Once applied onto your skin, the scent of this serum quickly dissipates as the nourishing ingredients absorb into your skin.

Directions: Apply a small amount (or as much as needed) to your face and neck area after cleansing and toning. You may either use it alone or as a hydrating serum before your favorite moisturizer.

No bees were harmed or stressed in any way during the harvest of this propolis because the beekeepers harvest it while servicing the hives and only take what the bees do not need.
