✶This piece is inspired by medieval folklore & sailing superstitions. This mythical folk beast has appeared throughout the centuries from as early as the 7th century and has somewhat come to represent the boogieman known as the Blemmyes. A race of headless people with faces in their chest who also appear in The travels of sir john manderville from the 1300's.

Each piece is hand printed & no print will look the same. The print pictured is an example as each one displays is own characteristics within the intensity and spread of ink, giving these prints their unique charm.

✸ Patch Care ✸
𓃹To prevent fraying, sew by folding the edges inwards (however if the frayed look is wanted skip this step)

𓃹Machine washable, but not for frequent washing, these patches do fade naturally over time with wear & washing. The longer you wait before the first wash, the longer the cure for the ink & the brighter the patch.

𓃹 Use the cold wash setting & turn garment inside out if possible, not for tumble drying
