What is a dugout and why is it used?

A dugout is a crafted piece of wood that has two compartments. The first for storing dried tobacco or fine herbs, and the second to hold the spring loaded one hitter cigarette bat. These two compartments are secured by a swivel or slider lid. This small discreet smoking device is popular with smokers for its ease of use, efficient size and punch. It is a simple timeless design that always works when you need it to.

How fast will I get my order? Is the Package discreet?

I run my business 7 days a week. I print shipping labels and process orders every morning and my orders go out by 3pm every day. Most customers receive their products within 3-5 business days. I try my best to ship within hours of the sale. Many customers request discreet packaging. I ship in brown and white boxes with no mention of contents on the outside label. "Dugoutking' and 'PRO420' are not mentioned at all on the outside of the package, just my address and the shipping address. We package most products in bubble wrap and newspaper. Your product should arrive safe and secure within 2-5 business days from purchase.

Dugout & One Hitter Size Guide

We carry 3" and 4" tall dugouts. The 3" dugouts can accommodate a 2" one hitter. The 4" dugouts can accommodate a 3" one hitter. Most of our listings have a drop down menu with the one hitter options, so you don't have to worry, we size the dugout and one hitters for you. If you are ordering separately, please note this size chart and order accordingly. If you are ordering a one hitter to fit in your own dugout that was NOT purchased through our shopfront, we cannot guarantee that it will fit. Not all dugouts are made equally!

Dugout Maintenance for Slider Lids and Swivel Lids

Slider Lids can be tight. If yours is too tight for your liking, simply remove the lid and sand down the edges. If you don't own sandpaper, we have a DugoutKing Repair Kit in our storefront with sand paper and two spare lids. Sand carefully and sparingly! If you don't want to sand or are unsure if you will be able to open the lid, please purchase a swivel lid dugout. Swivel Lids come with a hex key for tightening. This ensures that your dugout will remain tight and closed while in use.

Why do I need a stash jar? And why can't I just use a normal jar?

Stash Jars come in many shapes and sizes. They are a definite upgrade from a plastic zip lock bag and are a necessary item to have if you have dried herbs or tobacco, not only to conceal smell but to keep the product fresh. We are expanding our lines of stash jars and our favorite is the black coated 3" stash jar with the bamboo or black lid. This stash jar has it all. I started carrying dugouts by Reloadable in 2023. The master craftsman from upstate NY was quickly a crowd favorite. He provides exceptional quality, unique lid designs and enough variety to make sure my customers are always going to find their match. I was so happy with his quality stash boxes that I purchased his entire inventory, as he was more than ready to retire and get his feet in some warm sand. Wood Pipes- Swivel Lids and Classic open bowl

We carry a wide range of colorful wood pipes in our shop front. These hard wood pipes can withstand years of use and abuse. The pipes often come with a screw on black mouthpiece. If you lose it or damage it we have replacements in our shop. The bowl of the pipes can either be a standard open bowl, or a tight fitting swivel lid that keeps the contents safe. We provide screens that help keep the ash residue out of the pipe. Clean it simply with a poker or paper clip extended out. These are excellent pipes for smoking dried herbs as they are efficient, easy to use and clean and will last a very long time. Have fun!

These black plastic film canisters became the go to stash jar decades ago. Why? Because everyone had them laying around their houses. We used them to put our finished 35mm film in before sending it to get developed! The canister is small, conspicuous and black, preventing any sunlight from getting in. The simple gray plastic lid is surprisingly odor proof, so these canisters are great for masking skunky smells. These make great stash containers and if gifted to a Gen X'er, you will put a smile on their face. Especially if the film canister is loaded with their favorite herbs or tobacco!
NOTE: These are sourced from photographers. The film canisters are in a 'USED' condition, with small amounts of wear on the outside of the canister. They have zero smell and have only been used to hold a film roll. We have not been able to source 'NEW' condition canisters.
