Which earring backs should I use?

A pair of surgical steel butterfly backs and silicone backs are included with each pair of stud earrings so you can choose which you'd like to use. The butterfly backs provide a secure hold, but surgical steel may cause irritation in those with extremely sensitive ears, and use of the silicone backs is recommended.

How do I clean my resin stud earrings?

If you notice spots or dullness, apply a drop of baby oil on a soft cloth and gently buff. This will remove any dullness and restore shine. Always use a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Never use harsh cleaners or abrasives such as hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol, or jewelry cleaners, as these can damage the resin finish.

How do I care for the earring posts?

The studs use hypoallergenic titanium or surgical steel posts, which are very resistant to tarnish. You can wipe them with a soft cloth, or clean gently with mild soap and water. Be sure to dry completely before wearing.

How should I store my earrings?

Store your earrings in their box, a soft pouch, or a jewelry organizer to protect them from scratches. Avoid tossing them loosely into bags or drawers, and keep pairs separate if possible.

Do you have any extra care tips?

What grade of Titanium are the posts?

The titanium posts are ASTM F-67 Grade 1 Titanium which is pure titanium, not an alloy, and exceeds the standard for implant grade titanium.

What is 14K Gold Filled?

14K gold filled items consist of a solid layer of gold bonded to a base metal. This base metal, which is jeweler's brass (a make-up of copper and zinc with no nickel), allows for the earrings to be sturdy, and affordable. Gold filled handles daily wear similar to solid gold, and with normal wear should not fade away over time. It contains 100% more gold compared to gold plated jewelry, and does not tint your skin making gold filled metals a safe choice for individuals with nickel or other metal allergies.
