For our handmade footwear, we responsibly select wool from European farms. It is a medium-thickness wool that is perfect for felted products. It is not too coarse, so there is no uncomfortable "itching" feeling, but it is not too soft, so it massages your feet, and the felted wool naturally removes dirt. Additionally, wool is naturally warmer, and the wool felt forms many air pockets that allow your feet to breathe.

When choosing soles for your BureBure slippers, we offer two options to suit your needs:

Hand-stitched cork and lightweight leather soles, suitable for indoors and dry outdoor wear.

Take care of your slippers
For hand stiched soles
1) Freshen up your woolen slippers by shaking them and getting rid of crumbled dirt, clean them with the vacuum cleaner and leave to ventilate for a few hours.
2) Dry clean.

For latex soles
Hand wash felted slippers in a warm water with a small amount of wool cleaning agent. Let woolen footwear dry naturally in a room temperature.
Caution: do not leave felted slippers with latex soles in a direct sunlight!
