How long does it take to get my order?

All of my items are made to order, just for you. I do have an order queue and it is typically at 1-2 weeks before I start and ship your order. Etsy's shipping estimate reflects this processing time and generally you will receive your order in the middle of those dates but not beyond unless there is a delay with the shipping carrier. I do not miss my ship by dates and don't like to push the full two weeks but it is possible depending on the time of year. We use UPS, USPS and UPS SurePost (UPS and USPS combo). We are not responsible for mis-delivered mail, stolen mail or damages but will work with you to resolve the issue. Please photograph damaged packaging for claims. Items will be sent to the address on the order.

Proofs are sent on all custom/personalized orders, unless it is a simple initial or number. Proofs are sent via Etsy within 3 days of your purchase. Please make sure your contact information is correct in your order. If you use a "junk mail" account for Etsy, please make sure you are checking it. We do highly recommend the Etsy app and enabling push notifications for messages and order updates. If your order comes up in queue and has not been approved, we will still send it as an "as is" order and cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies or design interpretations lost in translation, even if you entered the info correct and we entered it incorrectly. This is why we send proofs. We will send at minimum 2 messages through Etsy.

Items are handmade...

While we strive for perfection, all items are handmade and subject to imperfections. As a tree grows with knots on it's trunk and branches, so do our frames and sign backgrounds. Each piece of wood takes to paint and stain differently. All of this is part of the natural beauty and uniqueness of your handmade sign.

The Wooden Frame reserves the right to cancel and refund any order using a promotional code found using a coupon finder such as "Honey". If the code was not specifically given to you or listed freely, please do not use it, it was meant for someone else.

We gladly accept returns and exchanges on non-personalized items within 3 days of delivery. We value each customer and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your items. Customer is responsible for return/all postage. A restocking fee may be charged in some cases. Please contact us at woodenframedecor@gmail.com and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you ship outside of US?

Maybe? Please contact us. At the beginning of the pandemic we shut down international orders due to insanity with shipping. We are open to shipping to Canada and possibly other locations but currently do not have open international ordering without a quote direct from us. Customer is responsible for all import and brokerage fees that are to be paid before delivery. I do not have any idea of how much these fees will be.

Whether you qualify for the $35 and up free shipping or your item is marked as free shipping, The Wooden Frame is still paying for a shipping label and they definitely aren't free. In order to offer such promotions we do budget these costs into our items. The more items you buy, the larger the cost of the shipping label for us, since the size and weight of the package increases as well. If you order more than about 2/3 signs, it is typically safer to ship in multiple packages, which also increases the shipping costs on your order.

Shipping Surcharge AK, HI & Non-Continental US APO

As of 4/4/2022 we will be charging a $15 surcharge for any order shipping to AK, HI or non-continental APO addresses. USPS has added surcharges to any package over 22", which includes the majority of our signs and/or boxes. This makes it to where we can no longer absorb the extra shipping charges for these areas. There is a listing in our add-on section for this purpose. Please add this to your cart with your items. If you have questions, please feel free to message us. We will require the surcharge be paid before we ship your item.

Can I get a price adjustment?

Sale prices apply only to orders placed during the designated sale period. Orders placed before or after a sale are not eligible for price adjustments. Sales may be ended at any time based on current order volume and processing capacity. Sales are offered as a way to celebrate milestones, introduce new designs, or thank customers for their support. Because each item is handcrafted and order volume can be high, sales are not guaranteed and may be limited to ensure quality, and timely delivery.

Each sign is handmade and will vary slightly. The boards and frames come with errant knots and imperfections which we make no effort to hide, as it adds a little charm and uniqueness to each piece. We do our best to not waste material. While we will not use any pieces that we would not display in our own home, we will use pieces that might be a little more imperfect on the back side of the sign.
