Can I use your child wellbeing and emotional intelligence resources if I'm concerned about my child's mental health?

Our resources are educational and a great help to all children, guiding them towards emotional intelligence, self awareness and helping them deal with common childhood issues. They can also help children who are struggling with big emotions. We consider our resources excellent tools for educational purposes and low level intervention and trained professionals have used and endorsed our work with 5 star reviews. However, our resources are supportive tools and therefore they DO NOT replace the advice of a medical professional. In the event of mental health concerns, please seek a professional opinion.

Can you tell me more about Ink and Scribbles?

We support the development of children's emotional intelligence and wellbeing through our educational, empowering and engaging printables and activity books. We understand that supporting children can be overwhelming, so our shop aims to make things a little easier by helping adults guide children through their big, messy emotions and leave a positive mark on their future mental health and wellbeing. Printable resources and activity books (ink) for messy emotions (scribbles)! Our resources also provide professionals such as teachers, counsellors, therapists and other wellbeing practitioners with quality resources that supplement their provision (see FAQ 'Can I use your digital items within my work with children?' below for more details).

How do I download my files?

Files can be downloaded from the Purchases section of your Etsy account or via your email confirmation if you checkout as a guest. Please note that you will need to sign in to Etsy via a browser page to access files as the Etsy app does not support downloadable files. If you have issues downloading from Etsy or any of our download links (provided for large files), the security settings of your device may be preventing download. This can happen when trying to download from a workplace/using a workplace device. We recommend using personal devices. Printing issues may be due to an issue with your PDF reader. Ensure your software is up to date. We can not be held responsible for issues with your printer, but we try to help if we can!

Can I use your digital items within my work with children?

Yes! Professionals e.g. teachers and therapists can use our resources with up to 6 children (each item carries a personal use/up to 6 children licence except single sheets which can be used with up to 30 children). To use our packs with 6 or more children or on an ongoing basis an Extended Licence is required, which gives permission to use our items in professional work with an unlimited number of children. Resources MUST NOT be resold or claimed as your own work. The Extended Licence listings contain further details and discount codes for customers who wish to purchase multiple resources. There are also bundles curated for professionals with licences already applied. Thank you for helping us protect our work.

Tell me more about shipping an activity journal.

We aim to ship products within 1 - 3 days. Each listing gives you a dispatch estimate and you'll get a notification email when we pop your items in the post! We use Royal Mail for all deliveries. Each listing will give details of shipping options and estimated delivery times. Shipping Times (estimated): Royal Mail 1st Class - 1-2 days Royal Mail 2nd Class - 3-4 days Please be aware that Royal Mail delivery times are estimates only. There may be delays during busy postal seasons or due to strike action. We currently only ship within the UK. This is due to increasing postage costs. We're currently exploring other/cost effective ways of sending our books overseas. We are also adding downloadable versions of our journals to the shop.

Can I resell your digital items or use them to create my own?

Commercial resell is not permitted. Please report any infringement of our copyright you encounter to copyright.inkandscribbles@gmail.com. All our work is authored by us, registered and certified copyright of Ink and Scribbles LTD. Under copyright law, you cannot reproduce our work or claim as your own. This includes using our text with your own graphics. Our resources contain originally authored educational text. We create original design layout and child friendly concepts. This original content sometimes uses correctly licenced graphics, by freelance designers, who also carry their own copyright restrictions. We politely ask that you observe our copyright. We are entitled to issue a DMCA notice where our copyright is breached.

Tell me more about the production of Ink and Scribbles items.

Our products are written by our founder. Many hours are put into designing empowering, high value items using the expertise and knowledge our highly trained founder has gained on child emotional wellbeing. Creating unique, impactful resources are a high priority for us. Our resources are so much more than 'just another printable'. We invest in our own training and development to ensure our resources are up to date, based in science and packed with originality that empowers We use a UK based print company to bring our A5 sized, beautiful quality activity books to life! Printable resources include high quality files formatted to A4 and US Letter Size. Files are PDF and/or JPEGs. See individual listing for details.

What is your refund policy?

Regulations for digital items are different to physical items. Once downloaded, the right to a refund is waived and the purchased digital item(s) are no longer eligible for refunds except in very limited circumstances. In the rare event of issues with files themselves, we are obliged to attempt to replace the files before refunding. We may use our discretion to make arrangements with a customer in goodwill, e.g. purchase by mistake, and file deletion will be a condition of refund. Non downloaded digital items may be refunded within 14 days of purchase, where file access is removable. Physical items are eligible for refunds under conditions such as returning the item in its original condition within 30 days. See our policy section for more.

Can I share my digital purchase with a friend or family member?

Each listing comes with a personal use only licence. We'd respectfully ask that you direct others to our shop to purchase items that you've enjoyed and recommend. There are financial and time implications involved in creating our resources and maintaining/running our shop, so we really appreciate our customers co-operation as it helps to protect our copyright and supports our small business.

Our products are produced for general education and coaching purposes and use information and knowledge gained in our most recent training. Ink and Scribbles products do not replace the advice and support of a medical mental health professional and we urge anyone with concerns to seek in person support from your local providers. Professional use in coaching, teaching or therapy settings: Any use of our products, and the contents therein, within a coaching, classroom or therapy settings is done so on the understanding that you are taking responsibility for information you share.
