How long will it take to ship?

My current processing time is a couple days for "fill-at-home" items and up to 8 weeks for dried flower and cremation items. This is the time it will take me to create your jewelry so this processing time begins AFTER I receive your inclusions (ashes, flowers, etc.) . It does not include shipping time. The USPS delivery time will depend on the shipping method you chose at checkout. PLEASE SEND YOUR ASHES OR FLOWERS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER. IF I DO NOT RECEIVE THEM IN A TIMELY MANNER YOUR ORDER MAY BE CANCELLED. If you do not send your ashes or flowers within Etsy's set refund window timeframe, our shop will not be able to issue a refund for your purchase.

How do I dry my flowers?

There are a variety of ways to dry your petals. The most important is that your flowers are COMPLETELY DRY before I create your keepsake pieces. You can air dry them. Please remove petals from the flower to allow them to dry faster. Then, place them on a paper towel. This process takes the longest. Please allow a couple weeks for them to dry completely. Drying this way can sometimes discolor the petals. Another way to dry your flowers is to cover them in silica powder as this aids in drying. This can be found at several crafting stores. This drying process takes a few days up to a week but also helps preserve the bright colors as the petals dry faster. You can always search the internet for other recommended ways to dry your flowers.

Can I return my cremation, dried flower, or personalized jewelry?

Because these are all bespoke items, I cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. However, in the case of any issues with your order, please let me know right away and I will do everything in my power to make it right. My number one priority is to make sure you are happy with your jewelry. If a replacement item is decided upon between the customer and myself, then the original item will need to be returned to Soul Impressions before the replacement process begins.

What type of cremains/ashes does Soul Impressions work with?

Soul Impressions creates memorial items with both pet and human ashes, HOWEVER, Etsy does not allow purchases containing human ashes so if you order through my Etsy shop specifically it will be assumed that these are pet/animal ashes. We appreciate you helping us comply to Etsy's policies!

How do I care for my cremation and dried flower custom jewelry?

These pieces are considered waterproof, but I do not recommend wearing them in chlorinated pools or salt water, or exposing them to chemicals (particularly cleaning supplies) or hand sanitizer. Please remove your jewelry before doing any of these things. Please be aware that all resin has the tendency to yellow over time. Please be advised of this and know that prolonged direct sunlight, UV lights, and cigarette smoke could speed this process. Yellowing will not likely be a problem with your jewelry, but it should be mentioned as these are made with an epoxy resin mix. Gold, gold filled, sterling silver, brass, and copper, all have a tendency to oxidize over time. A jewelry polishing cloth can be used to remove tarnish.

Do you guarantee your jewelry?

Please contact me if you run into a problem with any of your purchased items. I am always happy to work with you! With normal wear, these pieces should last a very long time if you follow the recommended care as stated in my shop. We do not currently have a shop warranty to fix/replace gemstones/cremation stones/bands, etc. However, if within a month of receiving your jewelry please contact us to discuss possible replacement options.

How do you help secure the shipping process?

Your items will be insured through our shop with USPS shipping and with high value orders a signature on delivery may be required for security purposes.

How soon do I need to mail my ashes or other inclusions to you?

Please mail your ashes, dried flowers or other inclusions within 2 weeks of ordering so I can begin working on your order in a timely manner. If I do not receive your fully dried flowers or ashes within 2 weeks of the order being placed I do have the right to cancel your order with or without a refund per my shop's policy. Please follow USPS policies when shipping.

Can I fill my jewelry or have the funeral home fill it for me?

My Etsy shop is divided up into categories and in the "Fill-at-Home" section you can fill any of those items yourself or have the funeral home assist you and you do not need to mail me any ashes for those items. For any other items (other than the fill-at-home style) you will need to send in a small amount of ashes so I can complete your order. The amount I need ranges from a 1/8 tsp to a tablespoon. It depends on the quantity of items you order and the size of the items the ashes will be used for. Feel free to reach out to me to ask any questions you may have.

How are the ashes fused/solidified to the jewelry in the gemstone collection?

I use a high quality "epoxy", for lack of a better word, solution to bind and solidify the ashes to the jewelry in my gemstone collection. This process allows the ashes to be strongly secured behind the stones. Depending on the color/texture of the ashes and the size of the gemstones, the natural ashes may show through the front of the gemstone. This option of securely and discretely having a part of your loved one/pet with you is a very popular choice with my customers!

The ring is beautiful. I’m so happy I have something to carry with me always to remember my best friend. The only thing I wish was different was that the prongs were little smoother so I could wear it to bed. Still, I love it! Thank you so much.
