This unique yoga mat made of bleached Carpathian sheep's wool is handmade from 100% sheep's wool, sheared from sheep raised in the pure mountainous conditions of the Ukrainian Carpathians. You can spread this wool yoga mat on the floor to comfortably practice yoga in lying and sitting poses when the house gets chilly.

How is this mat made?

Firstly, the wool is collected by regularly and carefully shearing the sheep. This procedure is as comfortable as possible for the sheep, so vegetarians don't have to worry - no sheep will be harmed during shearing.
After sheep shearing, the wool is thoroughly washed and dried in natural conditions. Then it is sorted and combined with special rake. Wool fibers are woven into synthetic warp yarn, which gives the mat strength (the mat does not shed). In this way, a woolen cloth is produced, from which the mat is then cut out into the shape of the mat and edged with edging fabric. The mat is double-sided, that is, it has the same texture (wool pile) on both sides, so you can use it equally on both sides.
Such a mat (plaid) made of natural sheep's wool has unsurpassed healing and warming properties.
