Bees are one of the hardest working creatures on our planet. Our lives and the whole world would be completely different if the bees did not exist. To make it easier to imagine, of the 100 crop species that supply us with 90% food, 70% are pollinated by bees. The bee population has been steadily declining by 30% over the last few decades. This means that if bees disappear, 70% of agriculture would simply collapse. Well, with popular fruits and vegetables like apples, oranges and avocados you should just say goodbye.

And what about the economy and the whole ecosystem ... The bee population is exposed to a variety of threats, including habitat loss and climate change, but pesticides remain the major threat to bees. Ironically, people spray pesticides on crops to protect them from pests that can damage their productivity, but these chemicals are also responsible for killing bees, which would benefit most of the same crop. Pesticides - Paralyze the insect's nervous system and may kill instantly, but surviving contact with bees can frustrate and forget how to find their way back to the hive. It is good news that such pesticides are already banned in the European Union, but there is still a long way to go to prevent this threat to bees.

The region in India where manufacturing takes place receives up to 95% of its water from the monsoon rainfall. This reduces the need for large scale irrigation normally associated with cotton farming.

Ethical Manufacture
The entire production undergoes annual factory audits to comply with Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) code of labour practices, and that implements
an 8 point Code of Conduct.

Clothes are made in manufacturing facilities powered by green renewable energy, (wind and solar power) from low-impact raw materials.
The carbon footprint of products has been reduced by some 90% and the calculations certified under the PAS2050 standard.
