Garments made from pure natural materials do not require special care, but certain treatment rules apply here.
𝗪𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
Some types of fabric can withstand higher washing temperatures, some do not. Always follow the care label on the garment. The temperature that the clothing can withstand over a period of time varies on many factors, e.g. the type of yarn used in weaving, the density of weaving, the treatment of individual fabrics, if the fabrics are dyed, bleached, and the nature of the natural material used to make the fabrics - eg. the hemp fabric is washed gently at 30 ° C as a maximum.
When washing, never use bleach-containing detergents that systematically weaken the fabric, its shelf life will be greatly shortened.
Do not use softening agents like a fabric softener. Lower spinning speeds are advised. In the past, in the past, linen has only been washed in an iced mountain stream with clear water by hand, and because of that, flax and hemp materials have lasted so long. Of course, it is not only the hand-spun weaving material, which is of course thicker, because hand washing cannot be shaken by hand as thinly as by a machine.
When it comes to drying, it is ideal to "shake" the clothing slightly before hanging it up.

Iron quickly, the temperature can be high, but never try to iron the fabric 100% smooth. The fabric is a natural material and it will always have a natural finish and texture that will never be 100% smooth Do not attempt to achieve such a finish. When you wear clothing you will always show some creases and natural usage appearance. The natural delicate appearance will always be present, which, besides the beautiful fabric texture it's another sign that you wear natural materials.

We wash our own items with a minimum of detergent, often with just soap, of course without fabric softener. When I have a little time, my favorite items of flax and hemp feathers are washed by hand in the tub, it's a good feeling to wash them naturally. After washing the laundry properly "shake" and slightly pull and dry using a hanger. In my many years of experience this will help to straighten the garment, and most of the things that are dried do not need to be ironed at all.
If you take good care of your natural clothing, it will last for years ...
