Gift wrapping and packaging

I do not offer gift wrapping, but every order is nicely packed and I can put a nice note in the package if it's marked as a gift. Note usually says `A gift for you`, but it can also be a personalised message.

I do not accept returns or cancellations.

Most of my items are personalised, but not all of them, so if there is any problem with your order, please contact me within 5 working days of delivery, I am happy to help and will do my best to take care of any kind of problem. I am always available via Etsy message and normally respond within a few hours or even faster. Earrings - personalised or not - are also not returnable due to hygiene reasons. If we can not get to an agreement and you do request a refund even if you already have the order, you are responsible of paying for postage and sending back the item/s for the refund.

Estimated delivery date

Please note that an estimated delivery date is not a guaranteed delivery date. Once an order is dispatched and left at the post office is out of my control, so I cannot promise that your order will be with you in 2-3 days as Etsy estimates. Delays with Royal Mail deliveries are not my responsibility as long as processing and dispatching time has been respected.

It is your responsibility to provide the correct details to the seller. HandmadeArtAle is not liable for any orders in which the customer has entered their address incorrectly. Please contact me if this happens and we will see what we can do if the order is not yet dispatched.

All items are sent with Royal Mail. Services I use: Royal Mail 1st Class for Small letters and Tracked 48/24 for Large letters or Small parcels. You can find the prices for these services on their website.

Tracked delivery (April 2024)

Most of my products now have tracked delivery except for the ones that fit in a small letter size envelope (sent with 1st Class) and some of the cheaper products that still have standard 2nd Class delivery (mostly under £4). This way both of us can track the parcel and see where it is.

Parcel returning to sender due to incorrect address provided by buyer.

If this happens, I will message the buyer to inform that I have received the parcel back. There are 2 options: buyer gives correct address and pays for a second postage, or I refund only for the item(s) price(s) if it`s not personalised. If it is personalised, there is no refund, buyer will have to pay for resending if he still needs the item(s).
