This Vintage Throw Kantha Quilt is made of 100% Old Cotton Recycled Fabric with three layers of sarees together with thousands of small and delicate Fine Kantha stitches, Hand crafted softly quilted by artisans in India. The way in which the stitches have been done makes the quilt extraordinary.

There is no fixed use of the kantha quilts. Being reversible they are used in multipurpose ways such as an Indian quilt , Kantha Quilt, handmade Blanket, handmade Quilt, Bedspread, Bedcover, Throw, Sofa Cover, Picnic Rug, Cotton quilt , Quilts,Wall Hanging, Baby Quilt, as a Bed for the Pets and as a Perfect Gift for any occasion such as Birthdays, Picnic Outings, House Warming, Protection Cover etc

I have ordered the kathna quilts twice from miss classy. So they do come with a pesticide smell but wash nicely. Fairly warm though not sure how warm they would be in winter i wouldn't keep them in my car for emergency use unless i was keeping several in there. My first order was surprisingly fast 2nd was delayed. My main complaint is 2 of the blankets i received in my first order were basically the same as 2 in my second order so i didn't receive the variety i was expecting and if i can make simple color request to avoid not getting variety i will purchase again soon. If not will have to buy from others for awhile to get a good variety.
