When copying film negatives to digital, it is important to keep the film as flat as possible in order to achieve the best possible reproduction.

I have created from scratch a series of film negative carriers that allow for easier reproduction from film negatives to digital copies for archival.

This is a 2 part assembly which is held together magnetically in order to ensure the film does not push or distort the film carrier allowing for a high quality digital capture of your film.

These items are 3D Printed with a Matte Black PLA finish to minimise colour spill contamination when digitising.

To use this. Place the film with the emulsion side up (the less shiny face) towards the camera on top of your light source. Place the top part of the film carrier and allow it to magnetically clip and hold the film in place.
