Everything about this transaction was perfect and the tree is just what we were looking for. My husband is adding some paint and lights. Will update with a picture when it is finished.

We purchased this as a substitute for a real Christmas tree. We were a little worried that the wood would be thin and not the best quality. However, that is not the case (and this is not something you can make yourself unless you have a workshop/tools already). The only thing we felt could be improved is that the S hook included with the install kit is quite small. If the tree shifts at all there is a worry that it will slip off the hook. So we are going to have to purchase a new S hook. The product could be improved by either including a larger S hook, or instead of an S hook and a ceiling hook, a Q hanger screw or L cup hook (which would have a mechanism to prevent the string from slipping off the hook) would reduce the hardware needed for install and improve the overall experience. We are very excited to decorate this year!
