🍃Care Instructions

Upon receiving the item, please remove it from the bag and rinse off the gel. Next, place the plant in a mixture of water and fungicide for 15-30 minutes. Lastly, you are ready to pot! We recommend sphagnum moss, though you could use water or a chunky soil. Please make sure to use a pot no larger than 3” in diameter. Thai cons are prone to root rot, please be careful to not bury the stem too deeply and it can cause rot. Place in an area with humidity between 50-80% and with bright, indirect lighting. Using a humidity dome is also strongly recommended

Please note, ALL tissue culture will have a dark brown/black base, that it is not root rot. It is present in all tissue culture plants. Root rot would be denoted by mushy roots.

🌎 We do our best to ensure safe travels through shipping. We use bubble wrap and biodegradable packing peanuts in order for the delicate piece to arrive safely. The decorative piece may shift during travel and there may be loose dirt in the box. Use a soft brush to gently dust off any soil that may be on the plant.

Although the TC Monstera "Thai Constellation" is quite a bit smaller than the example picture, it looks very healthy and beautifully variegated. The plantlet arrived in a sealed glass culture jar, cushioned and packed carefully with instructions to transition it out of TC medium. Julio was quick to answer a question I had about that process, and as a first time TC plant starter, I feel like I'd be well-supported if any other questions come up. I can't wait to unflask this little guy, but I'm patiently following the 4-day wait! :)
