The chawan is just what I expected! The color is soft white, the shape is gorgeous, and goes along perfectly with my aesthetic. It holds and whisks a large amount of my matcha (and later, milk), and I can drink straight from the bowl like a regular mug (or use the spout to pour into separate cups). I love aesthetically pleasing and functional items - so this hits both marks!

I bought this and a set of onigiri earrings for my sibling's birthday. They loved it! They had been looking for a whisk holder for a while now, specifically one made by a ceramic artist. It's lovely and makes for a nice decoration on the countertop. I appreciated that everything was packed securely in recyclable packaging!
