Traditional cursive writing is a continual flow of the pen as the letters connect. While some of the letters in this workbook look like traditional cursive, you will need to get used to picking up your pen. Picking the pen up between different strokes allows for more fluidity and creativity when lettering in this style. If you’ve learned brush lettering, this technique of lettering using monoline bouncy cursive will feel very similar when you put pen to paper. Having a background in traditional cursive is helpful, but not necessary, as you work through this workbook.

To help you adjust to the process of picking up your pen, you will notice color changes throughout both the letter and word sections of this workbook. When the color changes, pick up your pen!

This PDF is for personal use only and can be printed as many times as you need for practice! I also highly recommend tracing paper if you don't want to keep printing over and over!
