The American bison is perhaps the greatest symbol of the Old West. This magnificent and mighty beast evokes stability and majesty, the epitome of the wildness of our Rocky Mountain landscapes. It's for these reasons I've designed a bracelet to honor him, and the First Nations Peoples' long and intricate relationship with him in my Lasting Impressions Series of designs. All of the other pieces in this series give homage to the mystery and beauty of ancient mankind's cave and rock art throughout the world; that is why they feature symbols and handprints, which are found in every corner of the world.
This bison is not created after any specific stone age artwork; rather he is from my day to day viewing of bison in my native Montana.
This particular cuff-width seed bead bracelet is about 6 3/4" long, and closes with a brass finished button with a design reminiscent of symbols found in cave art. The bracelet is about 1 5/8" wide; however, I can custom-make one to your specific length!

The color palette is in russets, ochers and browns, with a touch of rustic turquoise as a nod to the Western theme.
Your jewelry will arrive ready to give or wear in a pretty gift box.
