You don't need firsthand experience with arcade video games to appreciate the charm of pixel art. Popular from the 1970s to the 90s, pixel art is a digital art form that uses small, square pixels as the building blocks for creating simple but intriguing visuals reminiscent of early 8-bit and 16-bit video games. As advanced technologies indulge us with increasingly more high-res, eye-popping video games, some of us start to dwell on the beauty of pixels. This 80-card Rider-Waite deck pays homage to the golden age of pixelated video games, showcasing both "traditions" as relevant and forward-looking rather than mere retro revivals.

The deck looks beautiful and quality is good but not the best. My wife loved it.
Response from Team Vermilion
Hi Yuvraj. Thanks for your honest feedback. We’re happy your wife loved it!
This deck is absolutely adorable, both in its artwork and its size. I simply love the pixel art style! The cards are quite small (I was aware of this when I bought them), so I recommend checking the dimensions carefully if you are considering a purchase. They are the perfect size for taking out and about, and would work well even in tight spaces where there isn't much room to shuffle or lay out a spread. I imagine they chose this size because the pixel art would look too grainy and hard to see if enlarged too much. I also appreciate that the area displaying the card names is black; it makes it easy to see the ratio of upright to reversed cards at a glance when the deck is spread out.
