Can I sew these patterns on a machine?

Most of the times, I don’t think so. For some patterns this is, probably, doable, if you have a cobbler.

Can I sell the items I make with your patterns?

Sure you can sell your creations. You can't resell the patterns :)

Are the holes marked on the patterns?

Yes they are, for 5mm stitching irons. Micro Satchel pattern is the only one that does not have holes, just stitching lines. Unlike most other patters from other designers, I make hole marks in the shape of dots, not circles. For me this makes it easier to gain more precision when punching them. However they can be a bit hard to see through the tape. I use transparent scotch tape or just cut the paper pattern outside of the contour and tape the margins.

I can't print the test page correctly, it comes out trimmed 😭

Check your printer settings. If it is in Portrait mode, change to Auto, it should solve the problem. If it doesn't work or you don't see this setting, download free Acrobat Reader and print from there with the Auto orientation setting. https://get.adobe.com/reader/

I found a bug in a pattern, something seems off / wrong / weird!

Send me a message. Sometimes (cause we are all human beings and I am too) mistakes do happen, although I try my best to double check everything and keep the patterns bug free. If you find a real bug in a pattern and report it to me, you get a free pattern of your choice from my store.

100% human-made patterns. Every design is created, drafted, prototyped, built, and tested by me. No AI-generated patterns. I create original PDF patterns for hand-stitched leather bags, backpacks, accessories, home decor, corsets, hats, and other leather projects. I have been doing leatherwork since 2016 after working as a graphic designer since 1998.

ABOUT THE PATTERN:

Size: about 9" in diameter and 10" tall.

This is a small basket, good for Easter eggs, fruits, bread, or just carrying your stuff around the house from room to room (like I sometimes need to carry my phone, charger, cigarettes, lighter, etc from the living room to bedroom and back).

What you are gonna need:

Tools
Knife or scissors, stitching irons, maul or mallet, pair of harness needles, waxed thread. Burnishing agent, burnisher, and sandpaper.

Materials
2 pieces of leather, for the inner side (lining) something thick and stiff like 5-7 oz, for the outer layer 3-4 oz.

On the pattern, the body and lining are the same, so no big deal if you confuse them.

The pattern has stitching holes marked for 5 SPI stitching irons (5 stitches per inch, or approximately 5.2 mm). 5 mm stitching irons made by metric system sometimes fit, sometimes they don’t (depending on manufacturer). If you have 5 mm irons and the spacing seems a tad too large for them you can print the pattern at 96.2% scale. I advise to print one page and try your irons to see how they fit before printing the entire pattern.
