Lavender is most known for its ability to relax and calm both mind and body, and is used to aid in sleep or to alleviate stress. Its scent is floral and soothing and probably one of the most easily identified herbal aromas. My lavender incense is made with dried lavender flowers, white sandalwood, makko (a bark that acts in a similar way to charcoal to keep the mixture burning) and acacia gum to bind it all together. As always, this original recipe took multiple attempts to perfect, and I personally make each stick or cone.

Each 4" stick burns for about half an hour. Since it is made with all natural ingredients, there are no toxins released into your home as with inferior commercial brands, plus, it smells so much more delicious! However it is more subtle than fragrance or perfume-based incense.
