Philodendron Dragon Tail (Rhaphidophora Decursiva or Monstera Decursiva) is an ampelous plant, which can decorate the house with its gorgeous glossy leaves. It gives some tropical accent to the house, especially if it is already a large stunning plant, as it leaves develop pinnate appearance. Philodendron Dragon Tail emits useful substances that kill pathogenic bacteria, so it is very useful to put it in the bedroom or office.
LIGHT: bright indirect sunlight; tolerates partial shade.
WATERING: moderate watering; don’t let the soil dry out completely; frequency of watering depends on season.
HUMIDITY: high humidity; requires regular spraying with room temperature water.
FERTILIZING: once in two-three weeks from spring through summer with compound fertilizer for foliage plant; reduce feeding in cold season till once per month.
REPOTTING: a few weeks after arrival, using one size bigger pot and potting mix.
