You saw it here first! Another original Macoya Home creation.
The KUBA collection consists of strikingly beautiful organic cotton mud cloth pillow covers. AWA and ADAMA are the foundational pieces of the Kuba Collection Each style is uniquely designed and cleverly constructed to showcase its own intricate overlay pattern that become the focal point of each pillow cover. The Kuba Collection is bold and exudes confidence and strength. Its' eclectic and unique design renders it .... a conversation piece!
The Kuba Collection is a must have for your boho decor or African-inspired home decor. Pair with Afeni, Zaire, or The Philly pillow covers for a coordinated look!
All of our mud cloth covers are lined with the finest muslin and are sewn on professional industrial machines. The covers are serged/overlocked stitched at the seams to prevent fraying and prolong durability.
In the listing video AWA is paired with our Classic Natural Mud Cloth pillow cover, JEANN, which is available here in our shop.
Mud cloth is a traditional textile that is hand-loomed and hand-dyled from organic cotton by the Malian people of West Africa. The fabric is dyed with fermented mud and plant dyes and ultimately painted by skilled artisans who paint symbolic imagery onto the fabric. Because of its handmade nature, mud cloth will have slight variations and imperfections. It is quite normal for mud cloth to have discolorations, pattern and color variations, stains, paint smudges, etc., it's these 'imperfect' attributes that deem them uniquely beautiful.

Item designed and constructed in a smoke and pet-free design studio
I suggest using a pillow insert that is about 1" larger than the actual cover size you require with the exception of lumbar sizes.
Pillow covers are finished approximately 1" smaller than the advertised sizes for a snug fit when the pillow form is stuffed into the cover.
Each cushion cover is one-of-a-kind, therefore, you should expect slight variations in pattern/placement.
Due to monitor differences, actual colors may vary slightly from the product photos depicted. However, I do my best to provide an accurate description of the item's colors and attributes.

Reviews for this item
What buyers say, summarized by AI: Looks great Great quality Love it Fast shipping
I loved the cloth used on this one. It really brought in the mud cloth vision I had for the room’s throw pillows. It’s the 20x20 and has that size insert in this pic, but I am upping it to a 22x22 for fullness. This seller has incredible products and attention to detail!
Response from Alison
We’re so happy you’re happy with your purchase, Melitta. Upgrading to the 22” insert is the right move for that plush designer look😊. Alison-
Beautiful pillow cover! My second one.
Response from Alison
Veda, we’re so happy that you love your pillow cover enough to come back for a second one. Thanks for your repeat business. Best, Alison
I love the natural feel of the item and it goes with my decor. However, the inside pillow/stuffing is not included.
Response from Alison
Alfreda, Thank you so much for your kind words about the quality and feel of our authentic Mud Cloth pillow cover. We are delighted to hear that the item compliments your current space. We understand your disappointment regarding the insert, and we appreciate your feedback. However, as noted in our listing details, this purchase is for the pillow cover only, which allows customers to choose the insert that best suits their preferred fullness and styling. Thank you again for supporting Macoya Home and taking the time to leave such positive feedback. Alison-
