Hand shaped, cut-out magnetic vinyl, black hand with metallic gray raven, silver moon, lavender pentagram , white gold triangle ( all these are sparkling metallics ) bordered with 2 shades of purple. 7 1/2 inch by 5 inches. ( this item has sold so it will be made to order, you can make changes if you wish )
Raven as an oracle and teacher of magic, the Pentagram is a protection sign,Triangle is a Goddess symbol, and Moon is female and Goddess related as well as a protection symbol. Most of these ancient and cross cultural symbols have several meanings and associations, I mean them to invoke the most positive energies.

The 'Henna' (Mehndi) was originally a form of temporary skin decoration for Hindu brides ~weddings and festivals, even favorite horses, donkeys and salukis had their hooves, paws and tails henna'd. Henna is regarded as having blessings and is applied for luck as well as joy and beauty. "Where there was joy, there was henna."

In Henna design the palm invokes opening and offering, while the back of the hand acts as a shield, defense, protection.
The designs of henna also have specific meanings or symbolism. My flower interpretations on the rest of the hand portray a partial lotus blossom symbolizing the light within, soul awakening, grace, beauty , creativity. The finger decoration is meant to be leaves and vines for longevity, devotion, vitality.
The hands I am making are intended to be homage to the art, often a blending of cultures , my own personal tastes and style and my own interpretations of the henna stlye.
