Star Wars Inspired Mandalorian Bracer/Gauntlet 3D File

This bracer is inspired by the armor worn by the Mandalorians, both in live action and in other outlets. This was designed to be able to be customized in a variety of ways, having multiple options for 3 separate areas of the bracer. There are 2 different options for joining the bracer halves together. The two halves of the bracer can be joined together with the use of high strength neodymium magnets on both sides, or they can be joined with magnets on one side and a 6 inch piano key hinge on the other. If you choose to, you can opt to use velcro instead of the magnets on the one side, or choose to use velcro in addition to the magnets. There are mounts for the small screen and large screen, as well as interior covers for the wire sections of the small screen area and the cannon/rocket mount area. These covers can be secured in place with magnets. This bracer is designed for the right arm, but the bracer and most attachments(please see Large Screen) can be mirrored for use on the left arm. The interior dimensions of the bracer is about 108 mm in diameter at the rear opening and about 83 mm in diameter at the front opening. The bracer is about 205 mm long along the closure edge.

NOTE: If you are rescaling the bracer it will effect the fit of the magnets and the small and large screens.

The current attachment options are as follows.

Large Attachment Options
- Cannon Mount: Consists of 3 small cannons and a mount. The small cannons can be inserted into the 3 holes in the mount. The cannons have holes that run straight through them, which allows the use of LEDS to light them up.
- Large Screen: Allows the use of a 2.42 inch OLED screen. There are a few different versions of this screen, and most are able to work. The board sits on top of the Large Screen Base, which is then mounted into the Large Screen Mount from inside the bracer. The base can be secured to the inside of the bracer with glue, Velcro, and etc. Other large screens may be able to be used, but modifications may have to be done.
Note: If mirroring the bracer for use on the left arm, please make sure to print the correct Large Screen base for the left arm, in which the screen will be rotated 180 degrees.
- Rocket Mount: Mounts a small rocket onto the bracer. There are 2 rocket designs to choose from. The rocket can be secured either with the Rocket Attachment Block, or with the use of 2 high strength neodymium magnets. The tips of the rockets have many small holes, which can be lit up with LEDS. Wires can be run down through the body of the rocket, through the hole at the bottom of the rocket, and through the hole in the rocket mount.

Small Screen Options
- Small Screen: Designed to use an Adafruit 1.3" 240x240 Wide Angle TFT LCD Display with MicroSD - ST7789. Other screens can be used, but modifications may have to be done to the bracer, depending on screen size. The screen can be mounted onto the Small Screen Base, which can then be glued or epoxied in place using the attached registration keys.
- Small Screen Hole Cover: Covers up the hole for the small screen. Can be glued or epoxied in place.

Side Attachment Options
- Flamethrower Mount: Designed to hold 3 different flamethrower rods, of which there are 4 variations. These rods can be printed solid, or can be printed hollowed out which can then be strengthen with 2 mm metal rods.
- Whipcord Mount: Designed to hold a whipcord/grappling hook. The "hook" inserts into the mount and can be secured with glue or epoxy. There are 2 versions of the mount, one of which has a window on the rear portion. This version has room for a rod (Whipcord Rod) to have wire wrapped around it and inserted into the opening, which can be seen from the window on the mount.

BATTERY RECOMMENDATIONS
The battery I recommend for each screen is a 3.7v 1200 mAh Lithium Ion Polymer Battery. You will need a separate battery for each screen used if you want sustainable battery life. These batteries can be purchased from multiple sources, such as Adafruit. This battery is thin, allowing it to fit nicely inside the bracer cavities. Other batteries can be used, but depending on the voltage a step down regulator may need to be used as to not damage the board used or screen or to make sure it functions properly.
