The Fi Series 3/3+ Compatible - BioThane® Waterproof Fixed Quick-Release Collar is perfect for adventurous dogs! Now you can enjoy the waterproof and easy-to-clean benefits of BioThane® while using your Fi device! Sizes are available from 11" to 23" in widths of 3/4" and 1" with coordinating end links. Hardware options are available in Brass Plated and Matte Black Zinc Alloy. These collars are only available in fixed sizes and cannot be adjusted. Our over-the-band style eliminates stress on the Fi unit and retains the collar's functionality should the Fi Device be removed.

SIZING:

This is a fixed-size collar and is not adjustable. To choose the best collar size for your dog, do not use a previous collar as a reference, as there is no standard for collar measurements. Please measure your pet's neck to ensure a proper fit. To get the most accurate size, measure your dog's neck where their collar naturally sits. TIPS FOR MEASURING:

When it comes to finding the perfect collar for your dog, getting the right size is essential. A collar that is too tight can be uncomfortable and restrict your dog's movement, while a collar that is too loose may slip off or pose a safety risk. To ensure a proper fit, follow these guidelines:

1. MEASURE YOUR DOG'S NECK

Using a flexible measuring tape, measure the circumference of your dog's neck. Ensure that you measure at the base of the neck, where the collar will sit. There should always be enough room between the pet’s neck and the collar to slip one to two fingers between them comfortably. This ensures that the collar isn't too tight. Make a note of the measurement in inches or centimeters.

2. CONSIDER YOUR DOG'S GROWTH AND FUR

If your dog is still growing, it's best to choose a larger size to accommodate their future growth. Additionally, if your dog has a lot of fur around their neck or experiences weight fluctuations throughout the year, consider these factors when selecting a size.

3. IN BETWEEN SIZES?

If your dog's neck measurement falls between two sizes, consider sizing up.

4. SIZE RANGE COLLARS (BUCKLE COLLARS)

For collars with a size range, it's best to choose the size that's closest to the middle of your dog's measurement. This allows for adjustments both up and down, providing a better fit.

5. FIXED-SIZE COLLARS

For collars with a fixed size, it is crucial to take an accurate measurement of your dog's neck where the collar is typically worn, as these collars are not adjustable. Take into account the thickness of the dog's fur to ensure an accurate neck measurement.

Remember, a properly fitting collar should be snug enough to stay in place, but not so tight that it causes discomfort or restricts your dog's movement. By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your dog's collar fits comfortably and securely.

CARE:

We recommend washing your BioThane® gear by hand with mild soap and water, and then drying it with a soft cloth. Please keep in mind that brass hardware will naturally tarnish (develop a patina) over time; regularly polishing or cleaning the hardware will help minimize this process. Our nickel-plated, chrome-plated, and matte black hardware may show wear and tear over time; however, this is normal and does not compromise the hardware's integrity. To clean your hardware, we recommend washing it with mild soap and water, then drying it with a soft cloth.

Important Note: Please ensure that all hardware is thoroughly dried after use in any water, especially salt water. This will help to prevent the hardware from rusting.

While BioThane® is incredibly versatile and repels most dirt and grime, please note that it is not completely stain-proof in all circumstances. Regular cleaning is recommended to keep your BioThane® gear looking new.
