How to upload to your Kindle:
Visit the website https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle.
Drag and drop each .epub file you want to send to your Kindle.
On your Kindle device, go to the SETTINGS menu.
Make sure the Display Cover option is turned on.
Sync your device.

To set the desired lock screen on your Kindle:
Open your Library.
Click on the lock screen you want to display.
Lock your device, and you're done!
