TAPECASE COPPER FOIL CONDUCTIVE ROLL (CFC) DESCRIPTION
This Copper Foil Tape is a one ounce, rolled, bright copper foil which provides excellent solderability and conformity. Its aggressive acrylic adhesive system creates a superior bond and since it’s annealed and non-tarnishing, it’s ideal for your decorative projects. This tape is primarily used in the electronics industry for shielding against radio-frequency interference (RFI) as well as electromagnetic interference (EMI). Typical shielding applications include: integrated circuit chips, transformer cores, joints/seams, flat conductor assemblies, cables and motors. Even the acrylic adhesive on this tape is conductive, so it’s ideal for printed circuit board modification, security-alarm circuit repairs, and prototype wiring-board layout/design. This tape is also great for cable wrapping to provide EMI/RFI shielding, seaming of EMI/RFI shielded rooms for electrical continuity, static charge draining and for surface contact to non-solderable materials such as aluminum and plastics. The copper foil used to make this roll has a sheet resistivity is 0.003 Ohms/square inch and an average shielding effectiveness range of 300 kHz – 2.5 GHz.
