Although the pattern states that it’s for intermediate sewers, I did it as the first ever project I made (the first 3 technically) and didn’t run into trouble following the pattern! I did cut some steps, however, as I decided not to add boning and I didn’t have interfacing and that worked absolutely fine! I also did make another substitution as I was getting frustrated making the little tube things for the lace up back so I just used ribbon (also worked perfectly and saved a bit of my sanity)! I must say, the size I usually wear is slightly big on me so on my third (it was about time) attempt I shortened the straps and back panels and that worked for me🙂‍↕️

I contacted the seller with a question and she was very responsive and helped me before purchasing. The pattern was easy to follow though I did change a few things to suit my needs. ( I did not add boning and I plan to topstitch the piece still) I was able to “finish” this top within 3 hours of purchasing. Definitely a fan of this pattern!
