Lovely hand painted sugar bowl and creamer/milk jug by Mayer & Sherratt (Melba Bone China). Blue Floral pattern and gold detail. Lovely gift. This lovely scalloped pair have a pretty floral detailed pattern of hand painted blue over transfer.
They have the Melba Bone China backstamp that was used from 1925-41.

Dimensions:
Creamer: height 8 cm high x 8 cm diameter (12 cm spout to handle)
Sugar bowl: diameter 12 cm x 6 cm high

They are in really good condition with no chips or cracks and the gold edging is still bright. Please look carefully at the pics.

Perfect for a collector but also a elegant and practical item to use.
