A personalized animal theme Birthday ceramic hand built plate a perfect gift for kids and adult.

The dessert plate is made from a white ceramic clay, I wrote a text with colorful under-glaze and painted in the centre a little figure. I used letterpress technique and carve a pattern to the clay before painting.
The last shiny layer is a transparent, clear glaze. I used the high quality nontoxic, dinnerware-safe glaze and paint with a brush the top and botton. The dish has been fired in 1050 °C kiln twice. The ready plate basic color is ivory.

The dish's size is app. 7" ( 17,5 cm) round.
This plate is hand built/ I make the plates the same way but each has an own personality, it could be slightly different.

I recommend hand wash, this way your plate keep the shiny look for a long time.

You can choose from the Variation the letter type: Capital letters or Lower Case letters. Usually I work with colorful letters what harmonize with the pattern.
