I re-use boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap, and other protective materials as much as possible when shipping in order to reduce the waste and consumption we see in this world. I gather boxes and packing materials from neighbors, friends, and retail stores across my community that would otherwise go to landfill.

This means your package won't always be the prettiest, but shopping vintage and secondhand is about reducing consumption anyway, right?

That being said, I will always make sure your items are packaged with the appropriate amount of cushion and stability to ensure they arrive at their destination in one piece!

Wonderful! An order containing multiple items will be shipped in the same box where possible.

Upright Vintage is not responsible for items damaged or lost by USPS, but will promise proper and safe packaging with every order. If your item is damaged when it arrives, please message me directly as soon as possible with photographs of the item and the box and packaging so I can file a claim with the mail carrier. In some cases, I may request that the item is shipped back to me.

If an item is lost in the mail through UPSP or UPS, I will open a claim and do my best to work with USPS to resolve the issue, and provide updates to you along the way.

PLEASE NOTE: If an item is a gift, please open your package right away to make sure there is no damage, rather than waiting until the special occasion to open it so I can help immediately.

We do *not* accept returns, so PLEASE always take the time to carefully review all product pictures, videos, and description before purchasing! We include measurements and descriptions plus photos of any flaws (if any) in every listing. All items in the shop are VINTAGE, so please understand they have lived a life before arriving to you.

If an item arrives damaged, the buyer will need to provide pictures of the damage and may need to bring the box and broken item to the mail carrier, per USPS and UPS policy, in order for me to file an insurance claim and reimburse the buyer.

The buyer may also need to ship the item back to me within 7 days of delivery. If an item needs to be shipped back to me, the buyer pays return shipping.
