This is not the same as a horseshoe, it is an oval hoop.
Both balls unscrew but to put it into your piercing you only need to unscrew one of them.
If you are purchasing the balls option pls realize it is for the balls only, not for the ring. I only have extra balls for the steel piece.

How to wear this: Both balls unscrew so just unscrew one of them , put it in your piercing and screw the ball back on. It hugs the nose in such a way that the balls lay flush on your nose.

A few tips to help with this piece. Play with it in your hands a bit before putting it in so that you can get a feel for the ball and screwing it on. Put a towel under you or plug your sink to catch the ball when putting it on. If you have long nails see about having someone else help you. Use tweezers to hold the hoop when you are screwing that ball on....pull the hoop away from your nose a bit for space. Once you have the ball on take a good look at it in the mirror and make sure that it is completely screwed on.

HOW TO MEASURE WHAT SIZE NOSE HOOP YOU NEED:
Take a ruler and use the mm part. Place the tip of the ruler at your piercing holding the ruler straight down your nose. Take a look at the measurement where the ruler meets the bottom part of the rim of your nostril...count the mm and there you have it!
HOW TO CLEAN YOUR BODY JEWELRY
NO ALCOHOL! DISH SOAP ONLY!
The most important thing you should do when you receive jewelry from anywhere is to clean it. Even if it’s in a little packet someones hands have been on it at some point.
Alcohol: Does absolutely nothing to clean body jewelry but it does a really good job at breaking or discolouring it. Acrylic balls will crack and plating with fade but the bacteria on your jewelry will stay no matter how many times you use alcohol on it. There are certain types of bacteria that live well on body jewelry so if it’s on it you can count on an infection. Please clean with dish soap only.
Boiling it: Why do this when a simple cleaning with dish soap will do a better job. Boiling body jewelry will crack acrylic and fade plating.
Why dish soap? It’s a strong anti bacterial product that kills the type of bacteria that lives on body jewelry. All dish soap is anti bacterial so it doesn’t matter which one you use.
