Sgraffito - a type of finish, performed by applying to the ground layers of paint with a subsequent partial scratching according to the specified pattern. Sgraffito is referred to the technique of painting, since the thickness of the layers is small, which is almost imperceptible in the scale of the building for the eye. sgraffito allows you to add objects to graphics, terrain and volume. Our artist Julia Dunaeva interpreted this technique and applied it in making dishes. The items made in this technique are really unique!

This is a marvelous work of art in all respects. The unique frame (with its spiky finishes and beautiful deep wood grain) is a beautiful complement to the ceramic lion that it frames. It suggests the wilderness from which the lion emerges. The ceramic has an unusual dimensionality that emphasizes the lion’s presence and strength. Great shop with excellent customer service.
