An outstanding English antique, hand painted wooden lamp, a late Victorian piece, possibly a candle holder originally as the wax collection bowl shape suggests, it’s made from wood then ebonised and hand painted with botanical delights and some gilt work to the stem, it’s been re-wired and tested and has quality components, it’s a very individual piece and still has the original felt bottom, so it was made to go on quality furniture, the antique condition is good, some signs of age or patina from use but this is minimal as the pics show it’s very well presented, the gorgeous lamp stands 9.5’ h x 6.5” across its sturdy base, that’s beautifully painted and can be enjoyed every evening.
