Vintage from the 1960s

Adorable and rare figurine of two collie dogs bringing in the newspaper. This still has its original label marked "Royal", made in Japan & #174. This figurine was hand painted and made in a porcelain material, I don't think it is bone china but it has that appearance. I cannot find another like it that has come up for sale in the last 10+ years but I did find similar figurines with different dog breeds by this company selling in this price range.

Approx size: 6" l x 3.5" w x 4" h

Condition: Excellent, I am not seeing any defects. One paw has a rough edge on it and an indentation, this is glazed over so it is part of how it was made but I did want to point that out.

I have been looking for this piece for over a decade and am glad to have finally found it. There is something loose inside that rattles when the goblet moves that really bugs me, but I can't see what it could be from as the goblet is intact and I don't see any damage, so while it bugs me, it's a minor issue.
