How are your planters made?

Our planters are 3D printed, which you can think of as a process where something is printed in three dimensions, one layer at a time. When compared to traditional manufacturing methods where you start with a piece of material and chip away what you don’t need, 3D printing only uses the materials needed for the final design, leading to less waste.

Who designs your products?

All of our planters are designed by the two of us (Jeff and Sarah, husband and wife). We pull inspiration for our designs from our everyday lives, which often comes from something random one of our kids says. We design most of our other items as well. In some cases, we use AI tools, which is specifically noted in the description of those listings.

What material are your products made of?

Our 3D-printed items are made from high-quality PLA plastic, which is lightweight, but rigid. These properties lend themselves well to most household décor items, which is what we like to focus on. PLA is made from plant starch and is known for being an eco-friendly material.

Can your 3D-printed items be used outdoors?

All of our 3D-printed items are recommended for indoor use only, as PLA can warp over time when exposed to higher temperatures.

Can planter sizes and designs be modified?

If you'd like us to modify one of our planter designs to better suit your needs, feel free to send us a message. For something simple like a custom size of an existing item, the price will be adjusted accordingly with no additional charges. For design modifications, a minimum fee of $10 will be added to your order, based on the amount of work involved.

What’s the line on one side of my item?

3D printers work by printing an item one layer at a time, starting at the bottom and working toward the top. You can think of the seam line as the point that the printer starts and stops on each layer, and it’s an unavoidable aspect of the 3D printing process. We do our best to incorporate the seam line into each design or put it on the back side when that’s not possible.

Can I buy the design files?

Sorry, but we do not sell the digital design files at this time.

How do you handle missing or broken items?

Reach out to us as soon as the issue is identified, and we will work with you to send a replacement for the missing or broken item.

When will I receive my order?

All items are made to order, and we aim to have your order ready to ship within 5 business days, typically less. We ship products via either USPS Ground Advantage (previously called first class package) or Priority Mail depending on the package size and weight for orders within the United States, which can take anywhere from 1-5 business days. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International, which can take anywhere from 1-4+ weeks for delivery.
