Swiss Blue Topaz—what you get when you expose an ordinary clear topaz to radiation at a nuclear facility. It turns into a really butt-ugly color, but when you heat it up a tad, the ugly goes away…
and you’re left with the color of the sky, straight up at high noon. Just the most awesome blue you ever saw. I’m just totally in love with them. These earrings? Just. Look. Good.

These stones are set into a sturdy 4-prong basket. We cast our own mountings, and will never use flimsy “snap-tight” stuff. It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver. It’s a good stable setting that won’t set you back a month just to get a pair.
