Use this glass tube to expand their current farm connecting multiple pieces/ farms.

Rubber tube is about 15cm long with 1cm wide hole. The glass tube fits very snug in the rubber tube - so no ants can escape. The Rubber tube can be easily cut into multiple pieces as well.

These glass tubes are hand blown. The ends of the tubes may be a bit rigid.

I do not sell live insects. Buying queens online is a popular option, but there are a lot of scammers shipping out dead queens. I recommend Ants Canada, they are well known and trusted in the antkeeping community.

Finding ants in your backyard, local park or hiking trail is another fun and free option. Ants Canada, Ants America and other ant keeping enthusiasts have some helpful videos about this process on YouTube.

I recommend just connecting a tube from their old farm to the new farm to let them move on their own. Place food and water in the new farm to encourage them to move. Another way to encourage them to move - Cover the new farm with a cloth or napkin and place a small light next to the old farm.

If your ants are in a tube, place the tube into the new farm ( if the tube is small enough to fit inside the new farm) and wait till they come out.

Last option, very quick - gently shake their nest to get them to move out.

* Test different foods (dead insects/ fruits/ seeds) even with the same species, specific colonies may have a preference & changes in habitat also may cause some changes in diet
* Higher humidity makes the queen want to lay more eggs
* Place the farm in a more low lit area if possible
* Make sure they have enough water in the foraging area to drink
* Less is more with care. Don’t disturb or move the farm too often, it causes them to stress a lot and Queens may even eat the larvae or stop producing eggs.

I recommend youtube videos and online research for the exact species you care for , for more detailed care tips. Different species can have very different habits.
