Avoid subjecting to extreme thermal shock. Sudden transfer from hot to cold temperatures and vice versa can cause cracking

Created on a pottery wheel using stoneware or porcelain clay, when partially dry (greenware) they are trimmed, and my potter’s mark added. It is at this stage that I create any designs on the clay by carving, slip trailing or adding sculpted pieces. Once bone dry, they are fired at 1000 degrees centigrade in an electric kiln for over 24 hours (bisque). They are then glazed either with brush on or dipping glazes creating a unique design. The final stage is a second firing at 1200 degrees centigrade to full vitrification. My aim is that you may confidently enjoy all my creations daily.
